It was all smiles for closing weekend after a fantastic ski season filled with abundant snow and unforgettable powder days. Big Sky Resort season passes are now on sale through May 8—an ideal opportunity to secure next winter’s adventures and get the most out of the 2025–2026 season!
This winter, the $1 Million–$3 Million price range led the market, driven by both strong buyer demand and the largest share of available inventory. Throughout the season, supply steadily tightened as properties in this price category were absorbed.
The luxury market also remained resilient, with over 22% of residential sales closing above $6 Million. A notable share of these were homes in the One & Only Moonlight Basin, where the new gondola and The Landing restaurant opened this winter, elevating the community experience. The resort’s launch of hotel reservations for the 2025–2026 season has further added to the excitement and visibility in the market.
Although the start of ski season saw slower activity, momentum built quickly as winter progressed. By spring, pending sales had nearly matched last year's levels, with the majority of contracts written between February and April—an encouraging sign of continued buyer engagement and confidence.
